About

IMG_20171005_180451266I used to say I would never teach.  Then I taught for 30 years.

I used to say I would never stop roller skating. But somewhere between kids and my job, skating disappeared.

I used to say I would never grow old. But I did. (As if the mention of roller skating didn’t give that away already.)

And I used to say I would never write a book. And here I am!

Well, this is not a book exactly, but I am working on one. Or two. Maybe three.

Bits and pieces of my books may end up in my blogs from time to time, but mostly this blog is a way to practice my writing skills as I share stores of our amazing God.

When not writing, I spend my time sewing, quilting, drawing pictures in my journal, working on fairy gardens, and looking for shark teeth at the beach. I  dream of owning a beach front home – as long as it is built up on stilts, has hurricane-strength (CAT 5) reinforced walls, and has a safe house built into the middle of it. Until then, I live in a home not on the beach in NW Florida with my husband and six dogs.

    1. Nice to meet you too! I spent some time reading through several of your posts. I was especially interested in your VIPKIDS posts since I have a teaching background. Your enthusiasm is contagious! I had to stop reading or I would have found myself signing up to be a VIPKIDS teacher myself! I also enjoyed the bookmark story. Keep up the good work!
