Jesus, I lift up SIL to You again tonight. Open her heart while she sleeps. Bypass her self-defensiveness and fill her with your truth. Ignite a passion for You in her spirit. Reveal to her what she needs to know so she can be healed and restored to the healthy, powerful woman You created her to be.

And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plumb line; and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter. Isaiah 28:17

Holy God, make justice and righteousness be the plumb line in SIL’s heart. Like hail, may Your Holy Spirit punch through the lies that SIL has taken refuge in, that have protected her for years. Fill her with living water until the water overwhelms the false shelter she built for herself. Then reach down with Your mighty hand and pull her up to the safety of the Rock where truth and healing and freedom can be found.
