A Prayer for SIL, Day 43

Jesus, fill SIL’s dreams and heart with Your presence. Show her the truth and give her the strength that she needs to act on it.

For the LORD has ransomed Jacob and has redeemed him from hands too strong for him. Jeremiah 31:11

Jesus, You died to ransom us. I pray that You show SIL the truth of that, and that You are her redeemer no matter how strong she holds on to what binds her.

They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the LORD, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more. Jeremiah 31:12

Lord, I pray that SIL will come to You and sing aloud in Your presence. I pray that she will be radiant over Your goodness and over all that You have given her. May her life be like a watered garden, rich and growing with life, and may she languish no more.

In Your Good Name,

Amen.

Offering It Back to God

You asked for something from God. And He gave it to you.

Or He gave you something to do for Him.

You are thankful.

You love it.

You want to enjoy it.

You want to play with it.

And He wants you to.

But what if…

What if you gave it back to Him? 0201201926d

What if you asked Him to use it for His glory?

What could God do with it?

Is it possible that not only would you get to enjoy it, but so would a multitude of other people?

And that God’s amazing goodness would be seen by many?

The boy with the bread and fish found out the day he offered God’s provision back to Him.

And so could you.

If you dared.

So the question comes down to…

When God gives you something, what will YOU do with it?
